FAQ
Common questions
?
The FAQ is the shortest path to common answers. It should stay practical, easy to scan, and linked back to deeper Codex chapters whenever a topic deserves more explanation.
In this chapter
Public knowledgeWhen do I choose a path?
At Level 5, after spending Levels 1–4 learning the world, you permanently choose Adventurer or an established Profession.
Can I know every Legacy outcome?
No. The public Codex explains systems and known families while intentionally preserving discoveries, rare interactions, and hidden requirements.
Is crafting a side system?
No. Professions are full character lives with their own progression, reputation, discoveries, Legacy specializations, and economic role.
Does reputation equal morality?
No. Renown and Infamy are separate records of public story, and different people may value those histories differently.
Will this Codex change?
Yes. Katarra is still being built, and this architecture is intentionally designed so chapters can grow as canon becomes finalized.
