Legacy Stones are consumed to permanently awaken supernatural manifestations. Their rarity and Family shape what is possible, but the exact power a character receives depends on path, Role, Stone, and circumstance.

How Stones Awaken
Public knowledgeHigher rarities
Rare, Legendary, and Transcendent Stones expand the conceptual strangeness and potential of Legacy power. Not every secret belongs in the public Codex.
Adventurer Roles
Adventurers permanently choose Offensive, Defensive, Restoration, or Utility. A consumed compatible Stone awakens one manifestation from that Role’s possibilities.
Two-Stone progression
Different-Family Stones remain independent manifestations. A same-Family second Stone can deepen the exact first manifestation into a related second ability.
Profession Legacies
Profession characters deliberately choose from profession-specific Stone possibilities that transform how their work is performed.
Discovery remains important
The Codex explains the public framework without publishing every rare outcome, pairing, recipe, or hidden route to power.
Legacy encyclopedia note: this chapter intentionally presents the public framework rather than every manifestation, pairing, rarity interaction, or hidden requirement. Detailed design data can continue to grow behind the Codex without turning discoveries into a recipe list.
